Dairy/gluten free Ice cream with three ingredients

Chocolate peanut butter banana ice cream in less thank 5 minutes.

A very good colleague of mine who has a massage practice in New York (you should visit her if you are in the area) posted a great recipe for frozen banana ice cream that I had to try. I know about adding frozen bananas to my whey protein smoothies in the morning but I had never tried frozen banana ice cream. you can check out her blog post here.

Do you know about PB2? It is dehydrated peanut butter that has removed 85 percent of the fat.  There is a link below to purchase it.  It tastes wonderful, a great traveling food  and it comes in a chocolate flavor as well which I’m in love with. I still add all natural crunchy peanut butter to make the frozen banana ice cream rock loud.
1 frozen banana
1 tablespoon of PB2 chocolate
1 tablespoon of all natural crunchy peanut butter

when you blend all of the ingredients together you will consistently have to push down the ingredients that go on the side of the blender. It takes about 5 minutes but you have creamy goodness like you can see in the picture.
YUM!

Go ahead and share this with your friends that have kids that are gluten free or just want a healthy alternative to ice cream.
