How to know if you have whiplash?

Detailed massage treatments are a great way to recover from any injury, acute or chronic.  The most common symptom of whiplash is neck soreness; but there are other important signs as well.

Neck stiffness – Trouble moving your head side to side, especially when driving. Not being able to pul your chin to your chest without extreme pain.
Headache – The headaches become more frequent and tend to last longer.  They don’t go away as quick
Dizziness – The most common time this happens is when you lay down at bed at night but it can also happen when you are looking over your shoulder when driving.
Hoarseness and difficulty swallowing and/or chewing
TMJ – soreness in the jaw, not able to open your mouth all the way, trouble chewing.
Earache – Ringing in the ear, sound sensory issues.
Paresthesia – An abnormal condition in which a person feels a sensation of burning, numbness, tingling, or prickling.
Shoulder, back or arm pain.

Pain that doesn’t go away, wakes you up at night and no matter how much you try, does not elevate on its own.

Contact us and let us know you have been involved in an auto accident, we will lead you through the process.
